Under $5 Faux Marble Vase

This was more like a school aged craft project it was fun and not time consuming at all. It is a beautiful effortless and inexpensive way to create a marble like look right at home without paying marble item prices. This fun little project took about 10 minutes start to finish including prep time.

For this fun project you will need

  • a Vase, or any item porcelain or glass
  • 2 or more nail polish colors of your choice
  • a plastic tub, bin or bucket
  • warm water.
Adding Colors

Pour 1/2 bottle of each color into warm water in a back and forth motion. Use 1/3 of each color if the item that you are dipping is smaller than a vase.

Using a side to side motion use a popsicle stick or skewer to mix colors and combine a one of a kind look.

Slowly dip your vase and spin around to evenly distribute paint colors. You can spin once until all sides have colors or add more polish and spin again to add more color and texture, It all depends on your individual style.

Materials

Instructions
