Here is a quick and easy way to bring a bland decorative item up to date, with simple color and your own personal & creative style

Before you grow tired of an item in your home & put it out in your next garage sale try making it work for you and your space…See the possibilities and put your creative mind to work.

For this project you will need:
- Hot glue gun
- Painters tape
- Small paint brush
- Jute
- Apple Barrel Acrylic paint (I used black & white for this project)
- I also added a small decorative cross I had from another project, but you can make a bow out of ribbon or Jute to add an extra touch.

You can use an old vase or planter pots..There are so many items that have great potential to make there way back into your main living space and create the perfect “Renewed Edition”.
Restyle an old item

Paint in color of choice, to keep straight lines use painters tape ideal for using multi colors on one project. cut and hot glue Jute and decorative item.

Instructions
- Prep by adding your painters tape to the item of your choce for dual colored project.
- Paint sections of your item that are not taped
- once dried pull painters tape off to reveal color contrast
- add personal touches such as decorative item, ribbon or jute.
