What you will need:

  • Clothesline Rope
  • Orange Color Paint (Pumpkin Color Craft Paint was used for this Project)
  • Small Paint Brush
  • Glue Gun
  • Onion Grass
  • One pack of party horns

With a hot glue gun, attach roping around each horn starting at the thinner end working your way around with hot glue and roping until reaching the top. Secure around the top edges with hot glue tucking in the excess rope.

glueing

Using your choice of orange colored paint and a small paint brush; follow the direction of rope, painting with light strokes. Paint completely from the top to bottom and any gaps in between.

Let sit and completely dry for about 15-20 minutes. If you prefer to save a bit more time and cut out the process of having to paint; then simply use orange colored yarn and hot glue with the same winding technique. I used what I had on hand, and honestly it was worth the wait because the texture of the clothesline rope gave my carrots a more realistic look!

Then finally, add greenery into the center at the opening of the wider side and secure with hot glue. Onion grass was the perfect touch to this DIY and can be purchased at Dollar Tree.

Incorporating some little touches to this DIY can make all the difference. I added some lettering and a carrot printout from of my Cricut, I then added in some greenery and a small wooden bunny from Dollar Tree, these small touches finished off this little DIY perfectly!
